    Pruul Newsletter
    September 2018
Pruul has been irrevocably changed by the Rains, brought for seven nights and seven days by the Mineborn. But ending The Great Drought was not without consequences. The rain has incensed the Sandworms, previously only found in the deep desert. Tensions between Clans and within them have risen. The new Territory Council is struggling to address the growing unrest.

    Territory News
    Sandworm attacks!
    • Tuono, the sandrider city, was destroyed by frenzied sandworms, which have grown in number since the Rains. Many perished and those that survived fled to Onn.
    • Unprecedented, the sandworms roamed out of the deep desert and attacked Onn, the capital city of Pruul, during the High Festival. Thousands died and some Tribes were pushed to extinction. The worms remain barricading the city.
    • At present, the hardest hit of the tribes are the Situla, Latifh, and Hague while reports from the Jinan indicated a severe loss to both their private and selling herds and while the Sandworms continue their siege of the city, the HorseLords are unable to head out into the desert to salvage the bands of horses that were released to avoid being eaten.
    A New Clan Emerges
    • Lucky al-Izar performed an ancient Clan creation ritual in the Vaya Temple, creating the al-Izar as the first new clan in almost 1,000 years. They took in the Clanless, the homeless, and the forgotten into their ranks.
    Askavi and Pruul Summit
    • Fin al-Sabbah, the Voice of the Sabbah, Lucky al-Izar, and Abaddon al-Sabbah travelled to Askavi to discuss new diplomatic relations, old debts, and the future of the two territories.
    Sabbah Civil War
    • Clan Sabbah is in a state of open Civil War as of the return of Lady Elenor, the rampage of Adavera al-Jinan and the Queen’s decision to save the woman who attacked many Sabbah. The Clan is divided with approximately one third leaning to the True Sabbah, one quarter firmly in favor of the current ruling Queen and most others watching and waiting to see what will happen with the Opal Birthright Queen Sarina ibn Kaid al-Sabbah who has recently been brought into the Clan. While the Civil War has not yet resulted in large shows of violence between the two factions, it is accepted as inevitable now that this will occur. The leadership of the True Sabbah has officially been declared as enemies of the Court, to be arrested and brought in. If that fails, killed on sight.
    Character News
    Fate al-Izar
    • Fate al-Izar controlled a sandworm during the attack, saving her family. The news has spread throughout Onn and many think she can save them all.
    Elenor al-Sabbah
    • Lady Elenor and her Court are once more in residence in Onn after racing in. On that night, an attack by one Adavera al-Jinan against the True Sabbah resulted in the death of some twenty bystanders and has left Lady Elenor and Lady Adavera in a coma under the supervision of the Sabbah Court Seer, Shadya al-Sabbah. Two weeks after that day they will awaken.
    • Lady Sarina al-Sabbah, the new Opal Birthright Queen betrothed into the Sabbah has been commanded to appear before the Clan Queen at a pre-arranged date after Lady Sabbah recovers from her ordeal.
    • Six-year-old Queen Salma al-Sabbah is now a Ward of the Sabbah Court after receiving a Rose Jewel at her Birthright. The question of her paternity is still up in the air as her Birthright Ceremony was interrupted by the rampage of Adavera al-Jinan.
    • Lady Elenor has secured contracts to import brackish water from the Territory Courts of Dena Nehele and Askavi, as well as individual estates and families in Hayll. This water is being shipped to the southern and northern salt mines to assist in the automation process. It will create a reserve of potable water, a portion of which will be donated to each of the other Great Clans and the Territory Government as a sign of good faith from Clan Sabbah.
    Matin al-Sabbah
    • After the death of Steward Prince Shaharokh al-Sabbah in the summer under suspicious circumstances, Prince Matin al-Sabbah has stepped up as de facto leader of the Court until the return and healing of his Queen. It is suspected that he killed the Steward and his Bond Brother but an inquiry has not yet been conducted.
    • The betrothal between Prince Matin al-Sabbah and Lady Sarina ibn Kaid al-Sabbah has been formalized and will be required to end in marriage within one year of Lady Sarina's Offering to the Darkness.
    • A formal inquest in crimes committed against the Geiba Orphans is undergoing. Trials will commence as soon as Lady Elenor al-Sabbah is recovered. The investigation is being led by Prince Matin al-Sabbah with the assistance of Prince Barin al-Sabbah.
    Shadya al-Sabbah
    • Lady Shadya al-Sabbah, Court Seer of the Clan Court lost her sister, Lady Amira al-Sabbah, Court Priestess, during the Sandworm Attack. Amira is also survived by her uncle, Lord Fin al-Sabbah, Voice of the Clan.
    Naya al-Sabbah
    • The ice cream shop run by Lady Nayarreh al-Sabbah is currently open to business with reduced hours as the proprietor adjusts to a broken Offering Jewel and her wife’s injuries.
    Mehdi al-Sabbah
    • Mehdi al-Sabbah is heading up the rooftop garden venture initiated by Clan Sabbah, and is inviting members from all other Clans to visit them and learn how to do the same if they so wish. Additionally, he is leading a support group for those who have lost loved ones in the Attack of Onn in the evenings. All are invited to attend.
    Adel al-Sabbah
    • Lady Adileh al-Sabbah performed their Offering to the Darkness and came away with a Sapphire Jewel. While in public they are still acting as a leading member of the True Sabbah faction, his Offering fulfills the conditions set by his Blood-Bonded Queen Elenor al-Sabbah and he is now the official but hidden High Priest of Clan Sabbah. He continues to work as her agent within the True Sabbah.
    Shira al-Sabbah
    • A warrant for the arrests of Lady Shira al-Sabbah and Lady Zhaleh al-Sabbah has been issued. However, the rampage of Lady Adavera al-Jinan has sent more people than ever to the side of the True Sabbah and their zealot's belief that the Long-Lived are responsible for the Sand Worm activity. The leadership of this growing movement is hiding somewhere in the city but their location is unknown.
    Khosro, Barin and the Geiba
    • Barin al-Sabbah and the Geiba children donated their cache of supplies, food, and medicine to the Mineborn Council to help recovery efforts after the Attack.
    • Khosro al-Hague has established a temporary shelter at the public library for all newly orphaned children after the Attack, with the help of the older Geiba Orphans.
    • Lady Niv ibn Geiba and Lady Taisha al-Jinan have both been blessed by Mother Night with the Caste of Black Widow.
    Torin al-Jinan
    • Lord Torin al-Jinan was wounded by Lady Adavera al-Jinan during her rampage. His right hand and shoulder were badly damaged and might take years to fully recover, if ever.
    Aahad al-Situla
    • Mother Night’s Champion was bitten by a Sandworm during the Worm’s Attack on Onn.  He was tended to by Adavera al-Jinan and Jasper al-Situla, and has recovered.  It is being seen as a miracle.
    Lucky al-Izar
    • Lucky al-Izar has begun to train an al-Izar guard, organize trials for new al-Izar members, explore different ways the Clan can become self-sufficient (as they are supported by wealthy donors currently), and build out houses for their growing Clan. Additionally, he continues to work through the trauma of his past with the help of Elenor al-Sabbah and Aahad al-Situla.
    Vashti al-Izar
    • Vashti al-Izar, a Queen who has dedicated herself to the Izar clan, has proclaimed that she will be holding a meeting soon for any men of the Izar who might wish to present themselves and help her form the first court of the Clan.  Expected to present themselves for the Queen’s First circle are her three bonded males, Ennead al-Bali, Tariq al-Latifh and Celim al-Izar, formerly of the Jinan.
    Rania al-Abd
    • A friend of the Mineborn since their arrival in Little Citadel, Rania al-Abd is well known and liked, especially for her delicious cookies.  With the recent death of her adopted father, she has used the money from her inheritance to purchase her own bakery, the Desert Flour and is doing rather well.  Recently, she has taken under her care a young man Tourak al-Geiba, a Landen boy of ten years old who was being abused by his foster father, another bakery owner.
    Izil Jofari
    • Was unseen during the Sandworm attack in Onn. Recently has automated the northern mines with water pumps. Former workers have been compensated and released. Has accepted Clan Bali via Zhahrah al-Bali as shareholders of the mines.
    New Canon
    Sandworm Craft
    • Although it was long believed sandworms were impervious to Craft, it appears that a rare form of healing craft can manipulate their bodies and control their movements. It is dangerous work and many who try it will die.
    Books in Onn
    • As of two weeks before the attack on Onn, a large number of books were donated by Clan Sabbah to the public library of Onn and shipped in from Hayll.
    Layout of Onn
    • As per several threads including Sirocco Winds, it has been established that apart from general and communal areas, the city of Onn is divided into four Quarters, one for each of the Great Clans where their presence in Onn is most established and where most of their population is now sequestered after the Worm Attack. The Quarters are located thusly: Bali to the South, Tabur to the East, Jinan to the North, and Sabbah to the West. Clan Izar is currently based out of the complex previously used by Tribe Geiba near the Sabbah Quarter. The center of the city is dedicated to permanent residents, a large merchant area (for the tannery, smithing, and textile workers etc.), city and Territory government, parks, and recreation areas.
    New Food Production Method
    • As of the day after the Worm Attack on Onn, Clan Sabbah began rooftop cultivation of teff and other quick-growing staple grains, using city waste, charcoal, and Queen's Gift. This will take approximately one month to yield results and help alleviate the burden on the city.

The rain has incensed the Sandworms, previously only found in the deep desert. Tensions between Clans and within them have risen. The new Territory Council is struggling to address the growing unrest.

It has been months since the Sandworms surrounded Onn. Supplies are holding, if just barely, and the Territory Council has convened to decide how to combat the growing problem.
      Territory News
      Sandworm attacks! [Continued]
      • The blockade of Onn by the sandworms continues. Those with wings have begun to carry both supplies and people in and out of Onn, ensuring that there is some movement in the territory still, as well as continued supplies.
      Rooftop Agriculture [Continued]
      • The Sabbah rooftop gardens have begun their second growing with the first harvest being distributed already. The Tabur-grown crops are coming along slower but speeding up. So far there have been no attacks on the gardens but protests can be heard on the streets below in the Sabbah Quarter some days and threatening graffiti appear on a regular basis on the buildings being used.
      Character News
      Michael Dyslin
      • He has been promoted to Master of the Guard. He's taken his Queen's command to prepare for his Trials in one years' time to heart,  and seems to be striving to set a much needed example of protocol for the court (mostly Elenor, who are we kidding), even while learning everything he can from Danyal and Matin, Adel and Shadya among others. Meanwhile, he continues to work with the strange Hayllian he and Elenor returned to Pruul with, helping him slowly along the path of healing his chalice.
      Shadya al-Sabbah
      • She has been promoted to Voice of the Sabbah.
      Lucky al-Izar
      • He is looking at ways to make the new Izar Clan economically self-sufficient. He is exploring the trade of specially crafted weapons and intricate glass work, but is looking into selling offensive Widow Craft or trained guards as well.
      • Lucky has begun courting Salome Sands.
      • Lucky spoke with Elenor al-Sabbah and has begun to come to terms with his childhood abuse, attempting to become a better man.
      Fate al-Izar
      • While walking through the streets of Onn with her foster brother, she was attacked by a mob of people that wished she could use her Sandworm Craft to stop the siege of Onn.
      Matin al-Sabbah
      • Accepted a contract to serve as Steward of Clan Sabbah, relinquishing his position as First Escort to Bashir al-Sabbah. His daughter, Salma al-Sabbah, has been accepted as a Ward of the Court.
      Malika al-Sabbah
      • Has been promoted to be Matin’s Second, acting as Assistant Steward in the First Circle.
      Adileh al-Sabbah
      • Adel has joined Elenor’s Court after begging for asylum on the orders of Shira al-Sabbah. He has been appointed as provisional Court Priestess and continues to work as a double agent for Elenor and the True Sabbah.
      Elenor al-Sabbah
      • EAfter some much-needed changes to her Court, Elenor has made an offer to any True Sabbah members to renounce Shira and request amnesty, using the examples of Sarina and Adel. So far, no others have come forward. The rooftop agricultural project has begun to be adopted by the Tabur with Elenor’s assistance. Grain is beginning to be given out, at no cost to members of Clan Sabbah and at a fair, even low market price to members of other Clans when surplus is present, with a free allotment to children under the age of 13.
      Danyal al-Hague
      • Has accepted a position as guardian of the Wards in the Sabbah Court.
      Adavera al-Jinan
      • Vera sent Simin a letter regarding the Onn Massacre she made, requesting that she be removed as Voice and exiled from the Clan of her birth.
      Bashir al-Sabbah
      • Bashir has (finally!) been promoted to Elenor’s First Escort.
      Dinah al-Tabur
      • Dinah’s Black Widow Caste has finally bloomed but knowledge about it is still held by only a select few.
      Sarina al-Sabbah
      • Sarina al-Sabbah was summoned before Lady Sabbah shortly after the Queen's recovery. There she unexpectedly Bonded to the Master of the Guard, Danyal al-Hague. Sarina and her Bonded sought sanctuary with the Clan Queen and Sarina became a Ward of the Court.
      New Canon
      True Sabbah Signaling
      • While it is common for members of Clan Sabbah to have their traditional silver cuffs embellished and personalized, it has recently become a trend among the True Sabbah and their supporters to wear plain, simple cuffs with no decoration. This has become a mark of allegiance and a way for True Sabbah to recognize each other without incriminating themselves as dissidents. While it is possible for members of the Clan to be arrested based on this, the possibility that the unadorned cuff is an individual’s preference makes this implausible.
      Tunnels Under Onn
      • Extending out from the Sabbah Queen’s Residence, tunnels and vaults have been dug into the bedrock of Onn over centuries by previous Sabbah rulers. There is currently no known map of the entirety of this tunnel system, and no one is sure how far under the the city it spreads. It is at the deepest point two floors beneath the surface in the area that has been explored and the tunnels vary between well-made and raw, as if dug using picks or Craft from the bedrock with little finishing, using similar stone shaping techniques as are used to open veins in the Mines.

The new Territory Council is struggling to address the growing unrest.

It has been months since the Sandworms surrounded Onn. Supplies are holding and the Territory Council has decided to create a Healer School in order for the new Sandworm Craft to be taught to Pruul at large.
        Territory News
        New Healer School
        • A Healer School is being set up within the Vaya Temple. The Mineborn Council has asked every Clan and tribe to send a Healer to it. Fate al-Izar will lead lessons in her Sandworm Craft,so the healers than can try and bring it back to their own people. Hopefully, the Craft can lesson the burden of the Sandworms and free Onn from their grasp.
        Rooftop Agriculture [Continued]
        • With the Tabur gardens in full swing to join the Sabbah, the strain on the city has lessened somewhat. More and more graffiti and protests are appearing around the gardens, especially in the Sabbah Quarter. The Sabbah have just done a large harvest and the food is being securely stored for later distribution. Rationing continues but is a little more generous than a month ago. Additionally, the Territory Council has sent territory guards and funds to fuel the projects, so the burden does not fall solely on the Clans.
        Sabbah Civil War [Continued]
        • True Sabbah Forces are rallying in the city. They seem to be preparing for something but have not moved yet. Shira al-Sabbah has last been seen in an Inn in the neutral zone outside the Sabbah Quarter. An unsuccessful raid confirmed the presence of several Darker Jewels within her ranks. Elenor al-Sabbah is likewise making preparations for the confrontation that seems to inevitably be coming and preparing Sarina al-Sabbah to take over just in case she is on the losing side.
        Character News
        Adavera ibns Sadagh
        • Adavera has been Exiled from the Jinan, and has taken the named Adavera ibna Sadagh : Adavera of the Temple.
        Elenor al-Sabbah
        • Elenor had been informed that it is likely that her Court will fall to the True Sabbah within weeks, maybe months. She had begun preparations for this eventuality while continuing to work for the good of the city. Among the greatest of these preparations have been preparing a defense and evacuation plan and informing Sarina of what she’ll need to know if she is made Queen after Elenor.
        Torin al-Jinan
        • Has petitioned Lady Simin to leave Clan Jinan to stay by Adavera’s side. They have set a date for their wedding on the first day of Winsol.
        Cassius Decius
        • Cassius will see Sarina al-Sabbah through her Virgin Night and has pledged himself to assist Elenor al-Sabbah in a time of need.
        Rania al-Abd
        • Rania found out a young Landen boy was being abused by his guardian, another baker and member of the Sabbah Clan.  She took the boy away and offered to let him stay with her.  In retribution, later in that week Kirak al-Sabbah and two other men broke into her bakery with the intent to destroy her shop and do harm to Rania as well as Tourak.  Tourak escaped and was able to reach Omid al-Bali who stopped the men before they could do more than deliver blows and bruises to the young woman.  As punishment, he shattered Kirak’s hands irrevocably and gave him over to the Sabbah for further punishment.  Kirak was seen stumbling away only to be found at the doorstep of Matin al-Sabbah, beaten with his tongue cut out.  No one knows how this came to pass.
        Simin al-Jinan
        • In an effort to prevent war among the Clans, the Queen of the Horse Lords summoned Adavera al-Jinan to a public trial of the Clan, wherein she was stripped of her title of Voice and exiled from the Clan.
        New Canon
        Sabbah Symbol
        • The Clan Symbol of the Sabbah is a white-tipped mountain, with the colors of black, white, and burnt orange. Other colors associated with the Clan are earthen tones, and the symbol of the Sabbah Queen has traditionally been a stylized olive tree of brown and green over silver.
        Bargaining Ritual
        • Before bargaining begins, it is traditional to exchange a drink with the other party, a sign of community and friendship before the deal making starts. This creates a feeling of “guest right” between the offeror and offeree, so they are safe from attack while the contentious negotiations occur.

The rain has incensed the Sandworms, previously only found in the deep desert. Tensions between Clans and within them have risen. The new Territory Council is struggling to address the growing unrest.

Two great Clans of Pruul are struggeling with in-fighting, the Tabur and the Sabbah. Many have died within the streets of Onn, but the Territory Council does not interfere. As long as the Clans to do harm individuals from other Clans, their business is internal and the Council's hands are tied.

          Territory News
          Sabbah Civil War Update
          • Grain and water given out by the ruling Queen for Winsol was poisoned by Javid al-Tabur, rendering many people very ill. This gave the True Sabbah the fuel they needed to openly revolt. In a violent coup on the first day of Winsol, Shira al-Sabbah and her True Sabbah followers took control of the Clan seat, scattering Elenor al-Sabbah’s Court, killing and injuring several members and launching an assassination attempt against the ruling Queen. This attack was assisted by Bastin Alquatil, an Ebon Gray Prince who recently joined the True Sabbah. As far as anyone knows, that attempt on Elenor’s life was successful, though in reality she and her long-live Bonded, as well as Salma al-Sabbah were smuggled out of Onn to regroup and recover. Shira intends to see Sarina al-Sabbah form a Court at the earliest convenient time. Shadya al-Sabbah remains as Clan Voice.
          Rooftop Gardening [Continued]
          • Most of the Sabbah rooftop gardens were decimated, as were the private gardens inside the Sabbah compound, up to and including the olive tree that has stood as the symbol for Sabbah Queens for generations beyond count. Some Tabur farms were also targeted but the destruction was not as widespread.
          Min Alramad
          • In response to Shira’s coup and rise to power, a group of people who had been loyal to the previous Sabbah leadership or who have other reasons to fear or dislike the Widow’s message and methods have begun organizing. They are calling themselves Min Alramad which means ‘from the ashes’, using three main symbols: a phoenix rising from the ashes, a golden flower, and a cracked and broken olive tree with a single new leaf (simplified to just an olive leaf off a cracked branch). This group is small as of yet but will surely grow and spread out from the Public Library where it unofficially began.
          Character News
          Torin al-Jinan
          • Torin married the love of his life, Adavera and had one perfect evening with her before the attack separated him and their daughter from Vera. He does not know where his new wife is, if she is alright, or how to find her since she is now somehow out of range of a Psychic Thread.
          Elenor al-Sabbah
          • In the final days of her rule, Elenor did what she could to prepare Sarina for the worst case scenario and make contingency plans. After a brutal assassination attempt by Adel (compulsed by Shira), Elenor survived but with some brutal emotional damage and a bruised neck. She was evacuated by Lucky to the house of Izil Jofari and then was taken out of Onn against her wishes but for her own protection after the discovery that she is pregnant.
          Mehdi al-Sabbah
          • Mehdi and Shadya have started and continued a casual but intimate relationship and he was overjoyed to see Vera and Torin get married. He was then horrified and heartbroken as Shira al-Sabbah and her people burned down all his gardens and the Olive Tree of the Sabbah Queens of old. He has been crying ever since and is inconsolable.
          Cassius Decius
          • Cassius led a group of Sabbah out of the compound, saving their lives.
          Aahad al-Situla
          • Aahad officiated Vera and Torin's wedding and during the reception, escaped the Sabbah coup.
          Nayarreh al-Sabbah
          • Naya and her wife, Elham, separated over Naya’s willingness to consider siding with Elenor even after the Queen took in Adavera. She went to stay with Theo for a few days with Barin and Yari and stayed there until the True Sabbah burned his shop down and kidnaped both her sons. She was taken to the Sabbah Court and has since been recovering and throwing herself into work. Her heart was further torn from her chest as she and Matin made the choice to give Salma to Theo during the attack and stay put, so that they might have a chance to save the two young boys if Shira won.
          Shira al-Sabbah
          • Successfully overthrew the foreign interlopers and brought the Sabbah back to purity and order. There will now be peace. Also, signed a contract with bounty hunter Bastin Alquatil for his assistance, conspired with Azar al-Latif and Shaula al-Tabur, and had DInah al-Tabur’s First Escort and brother murdered so he could never reveal his collaboration in the poisoning of Sabbah grain that fueled the uprising.
          Dinah al-Tabur
          • Dinah has lost her First Escort, Javid al-Tabur, to traitorous reasons and is now in a quandary of what to do to keep her clan safe. Tensions are coming to a head in the Tabur clan, as the Queen in training, Shaula, seeks to usurp Dinah through drastic means.
          Sirrah al-Tair
          • After the loss of her son in the sandworm attack, Sirrah has taken a small group of her people out of Onn, a departure orchestrated by her Healer Naamah al-Tair in an effort to help her Queen’s despair. More Tair will follow, taking the mountainous trails to known caverns and other safe shelters.
          Lucky al-Izar
          • Lucky killed many True Sabbah during their uprising and saved Elenor al-Sabbah from being killed. He came face to face with Bastin Alquatil, the Ebon Grey killer, and considers him a grave problem. As much as he wants to strike against the True Sabbah, he holds himself back due to his association with the neutral Territory Council.

            Rooftop Gardening [Continued]
            • Many of the gardens caught fire and were destroyed during the True Sabbah uprising, cutting off a valuable source of food for the trapped inhabitants of Onn. Now, many of the residents are fed by either winged Pruulians or small bands of brave souls that travel out from Onn, fill their physic cabinets, and drop the food off within key points in the city.
            Territory Council Action
            • Lucky al-Izar called an emergency meeting to discuss repercussions for the True Sabbah “killing” their Clan Queen and threatening the Long-Lived of Pruul more generally.
            Character News
            Sarina al-Sabbah
            • She completed both her Virgin Night and her Offering and now wears a cut Red. She lost one of her Bonded in the True Sabbah attack on the Sabbah compound.
            Aahad al-Situla
            • Found out that Sirrah al-Tair has knowledge of a new Lost Site, discovered while attempting to get the mapmakers’ help in deciphering the mosaic discovered in the northern range. It is located in the eastern range south of Arnadeth temple.
            • Attended and officiated the wedding of Adavera and Torin and was present during the attack by the True Sabbah. Escaped capture/death by Samir and his retinue and fled into the city with the help of one of the Geiba children. The child reached Izil Jofari’s estate but Aahad’s whereabouts are currently unknown.
            Bashir al-Sabbah
            • He was lost in the True Sabbah attack and has returned to the Darkness.
            Lucky al-Izar
            • Lucky was present when the True Sabbah attacked Elenor al-Sabbah. He rescued both Elenor and Vera, the two females he considers his. He called an emergency meeting of the Territory COuncil to discuss the events and possible responses.
            Elenor al-Sabbah
            • She distraught at the loss of Bashir and the severe injury to Michael, Elenor has accepted that she must leave Pruul for the duration of her pregnancy with those of her Court and Bonded who are in the most danger and has asked Ziba al-Hague to help form a resistance against Shira, named Min Alramad ‘from the ashes.’
            Adavera ibna Sadagh
            • Vera’s wedding was crashed by the True Sabbah.  She was separated from Torin and Taisha, and was caught in battle with Barin ibn Geiba al Sabbah.  Betrayed by her student Vera succumbed to her bloodlust and had to be knocked out by Lucky al-Izar.  She was carted off to Izil’s home to be reunited with Elenor.
            Mehdi al-Sabbah
            • He has chosen to remain in Onn to help his aunt form this new resistance movement after entrusting the only remaining seeds from the olive tree destroyed in the attack by Parsa al-Sabbah to the deposed Queen. That tree had stood as a symbol of Sabbah Queens for generations and he has requested that Elenor nurture these seeds until she returns.
            Torin al-Jinan
            • He was separated from his new wife during the attack to the Sabbah compound. He and their daughter, Taisha, have fled into hiding in the Jinan Quarter.
            Nayarreh al-Sabbah
            • She, along with Matin, Naya chose to give Salma up to Theo in hopes of keeping her out of Shira’s grasp. Her son, Barin, was forced to sign a contract with Shira turning him into a tool for the Black Widow to use as she would. His first order was to try to kill Adavera, at which he failed.
            Shira al-Sabbah
            • She has taken full control of Clan Sabbah and burned all the rooftop gardens in their Quarter. She has Sarina al-Sabbah captive and killed one of her Bonded. Her daughter currently holds the Jewels of both Sarina and Danyal. Her minion, Bast, failed to kill Elenor but believes her probably dead, and fought Gabriel in the tunnels under the Sabbah compound.
            Ziba al-Hague
            • As the Aubdina of the Hague, and a loyal Sabbah Clan member, Ziba has spoken with Elenor the night of the attack and she has begun to gather the start of the Min Alramad - a rebellion meant to defeat the True Sabbah who would fashion themselves Queen Killers.
            Shadya al-Sabbah
            • The Voice of the Sabbah was last seen at the Sabbah Compound. Rumor says that she was seen in a Healing Tent during the height of the commotion, but she vanished soon after. She is currently missing.
            Izil Jofari
            • Evacuated his compound into the southern range toward Site 0 following the True Sabbah attack on the Sabbah estate. Currently remains behind to protect the compound and the evacuees while dealing with the influx of survivors from the Sabbah estate. Not pleased.
            Theodore Lirion
            • During the attack on the Sabbah estate by members of the True Sabbah, Theo made the difficult decision of leaving Elenor’s safety to her court and rushed to defend his own Queen.  She was given into his care by Matin and Naya to keep her safe from Shira’s clutches.  He also shared a heartfelt and surprisingly revealing moment with Matin before running off with Salma.  He is on the run now with her, hiding out in Izil’s compound and waiting for word from El.
            Simin al-Jinan
            • Simin has received word about the attack on the Sabbah, the deposition of Elenor and the subsequent murder of her Bonded’s twin during the attack.  Already infuriated by the events that forced her to exile her friend and mentor, Simin has publically declared before her whole Clan that the Jinan will have no alliance with the True Sabbah.
            Rania al-Abd
            • After rescuing the Landen Tourak al-Geiba from an abusive fostering situation, Rania and her bakery were attacked by Tourak’s former keeper and two other members of the Sabbah.  There was much damage done within the shop and Rania herself was injured painfully in the attack and would have suffered much more if Tourak hadn’t run for assistance from Omid al-Bali who demonstrated why you should not harm those things beloved of a Red jeweled Prince.
            Hadjara al-Izar
            • After the attacks of the Sandworms on Onn, Hadjara has finally come to terms with her role as an Aubdina of her Clan.  Attempting to harvest the water of those killed, she realizes that in order to embrace this new title, she will need additional training in the Aub and has sought out Jasper al-Situla to help her.
            Matin al-Sabbah
            • After ensuring his daughter’s escape from the Sabbah Compound with Theodor Lirion, Matin decided not to leave and has been arrested for serving and supporting Elenor Lirion.
            Adel al-Sabbah
            • Under compulsion by Shira, Adel tried to assassinate Elenor during the attack on the Sabbah Compound. The attempt failed because Shira did not know about Adel’s Bond to Elenor. Adel had already been mentally unstable and the trauma of this event caused a him to experience a psychotic break.

            New Canon
            Min Alramad
            • A new organization has sprung up on the very night of the True Sabbah’s coup.  That organization’s name is Min Alramad, which translates from the Old Tongue as “From the Ashes”.  Their symbols and actions are meant to resist the True Sabbah and to defeat those who would kill their Clan Queen in their search for power.
            Territory Guard
            • Typically made up of citizens of Onn or a small contingent of guards from each Tribe, the territory guard responds to the will of the Territory Council and can be deployed at their discretion.
            “Site 0”
            • One of the communes erected by Izil Jofari upon getting his contract with the Sabbah. Unlike the townships where miners live, Site 0 is a scientific preserve where inhabitants seek to understand desert agriculture - the intent to discover how to produce agriculture in the desert to better feed Izil’s workers. Site 0 is located in south-eastern Pruul along the mountains. Sandworms are uncommon at Site 0 due to its location and the mountains in which it is housed, allowing for more open Craft use than in the open desert but they can appear along the periphery. Site 0 is shielded from view keeping its presence hidden from travelers along the mountains higher up.
            Water Temples
            • A fragment of Pruul’s forgotten past, water temples were spiritual sites focused around a major water source be it a spring or river source. Few sites remain and those that do are mysteriously buried in the mountains. How or why they are buried remains unclear.

            Temple Locations:
The Northern Range - northeastern Pruul
The Eastern Range - “a day’s travel south of Arnadeth”

              • The sandworms, while still plentiful and dangerous, have dispersed throughout Pruul. No longer contained within the deep desert, they have now spread out across Pruul.
