Residence of the Queen, Killan Park
« on: Jan 28, 12, 10:52:59 PM »

The home of the Queen of Scelt is a sprawling estate that is a testiment to the lineage of the Killan Queens. Killan Keep is the latest structure that a Killan Queen has called home but the remains of two past homes continue to exist in harmony with the Keep. A mile to the south of the Keep is Castle Loch, a beautiful castle that was once know for it's strength and fortitude against attack. And two miles to the west of the Keep are the Killan Ruins. The remains of the Killan's first castle and a constant reminder of the hardships faced over the generations.

Killan Keep has been the home of the Queen of Scelt for countless generations. The grand palatial castle was built in honor of the first peace experienced in Scelt and it is a constant reminder of the goal that the Killan Queens continue to strive for. It is a manor house that has been deceptively well fortified but also retains a strong element of elegance with it's beautiful architecture, high ceilinged rooms and a perfectly decorated interior.

Housekeeper: Brighe Devlin, White to Tiger Eye Hearth witch
Butler: Grady Bradigan, Yellow Jeweled Prince

Castle Loch was the home and seat to the Killan family long enough to have seen peace amongst Blood and landens. The castle was veritably unpenetratable and remained a fortress for as long as the Killans were in residence. It was a symbol to their power and a great focal point in the Killan's history. When the Killan's chose to move their residence from Castle Loch to Killan Keep it was to show that they believed in the peace that had been established at the time, it had been a show of faith and belief.

The ruins that stand on the far end of the Killan's land are a remembrance for what life had been long before the 'breaking' or the wars. The ruins were once a grand castle that the Killans had called home when they were one of the many unruly and warring families that dominated the land of the Territory. They stand as a remembrance for the past and hope for the future.
