Joining the al-Izar
« on: Jul 18, 17, 12:03:22 AM »
Hey guys! I am going to write an article about this, but in the meantime, since we have had some players start al-Izar characters, I just wanted to lay out the basic ideas I was envisioning for how to join the al-Izar Clan (and tribe).

After talking with the wonderful Viv, who plays Ghanima (The future Queen of the al-Izar Clan), we came up with a loose framework for how it will work.

* - This process is subject to change! *

1. Ghanima will form her first and second circle first. All of these people will be thoroughly vetted, have one-on-one convos with Ghanima and probably multiple of her bonded males/family.

2. As more and more people flock to the al-Izar and this process becomes untenable, mass trials will take place. These are similar to the foreigner trials, with three parts testing the mind, body, and heart. These will be conducted with large groups of people. If they pass these trials…

3. They are interviewed by a first or second circle court member….

…then they have made it into the al-Izar!

At first, people will join the al-Izar, but as the Clan reaches critical mass and can no longer support more people, they will then be distributed to the first tribe, run by Lene’s Queen. After things settle down, the process for joining the al-Izar will be akin to joining any other Clan or Tribe.

Hope this helps :) PM if you have any questions!

Glad it is helpful!

I think I might add one more thing. Children fifteen and under do not have to go through the trials. Once their parents do, and if they pass, their children will be admitted after an interview as well.
