PSA on Etiquette
« on: Apr 09, 12, 10:48:53 AM »

Since most of our members have been here for an extended period of time I doubt that many of us revisit the Rules or Etiquette guide posted in the Information page. As such I wanted to do a gentle Public Service Announcement to suggest that our members review the Etiquette guide. It is easy to forget a lot of these bullet points over time (I know I have) so I just wanted to draw everyone's attention to it once more.,20.0.html#board-etiquette

Based on feedback that we have received the HBC has gone ahead and have added a new bulletpoint (under "Stepping on Toes"):
When tagging a character or writer please make sure that you have discussed them concerning the thread/arc ahead of time. Tagging out of context can be confusing or considered rude if the writer is uninterested in the plot or unavailable to write.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Also please note that the etiquette portion of our rules is a best practices. Members will not get in trouble for breaking Etiquette on occassion but if we see that it is a constant problem we may have a chat with you.
