Formal Leave of Absence Registration

Going on vacation? Going to be AFK for some time? Or simply need a break from the insanity? No problem! Simply reply to this thread using one of the two following templates, and voila! You're on an approved LOA! No one will harass you for being a slacker or poke you for missing those all important tag backs if you don't want them to.

Please note that regardless of the type of LOA registered, the characters and claims belonging to players on LOA are still subject to loss if they are not periodically updated and maintained. If the player does not foresee themselves being able to keep up their graphics claims and Inactivity Waivers, it is their responsibility to make arrangements to have someone speak for them for the sake of those claims.

Plot Leaders on LOA must have a Plot Proxy appointed during their absence, or questions concerning their Territory will be handled by HBC.

Active players should be respectful of the wishes of players on LOA. We are all passionate about the board, but "real life" responsibilities and obligations will always come first. If a player on LOA indicates they do not want board-related communications while on LOA, players are expected to use the appropriate proxy, or to route their questions through HBC.

Indefinite LOA

This type of Leave of Absence is intended for those players who do not anticipate being able (or willing) to check the site for an undetermined amount of time. A list of currently registered indefinite LOAs will be kept below.

This type of Leave of Absence is intended for those players who have a temporary event or period of time that they will be away from the site, with a predictable return date. Use this type of LOA if you're traveling or have some other temporary business that will keep you away.

Reason/Other Notes: My life has been pretty crazy recently, but I have finally made the decision to move back home to Sweden to sort out myself and figure out what I want to do with my life. I should probably have written in here earlier, but yeah. I will be moving home sometime mid/late August, so my activity will continue to be very sporadic until I have managed to settle a bit back home. I apologise for being slow in answering and typing up characters in the meantime.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to be able to write a whole lot for the unforeseeable future, at least on a site setting. A lot of stuff irl is going on, I'll be working two jobs (hopefully), and going back to school. It's majorly stressing me out trying to figure out when I'll have time to write without feeling out of touch with plots and things. I love how sweet you all have been, but right now I don't think it's going to work out.

Reason/Other Notes: there's a shortage of a critical medication that i take and unfortunately this means i do not have said med. they don't know when it'll be fixed so this is just a warning that i might drop off the map w/ no notice or be more weepy/bitchy than usual depending on my mood as i have not been w/o this med for like three years now and i'm a little freaked out

Other Notes: This is an LOA Lite. Chronic pain is extra bad atm and I just don't know my capacity from day to day. I have some upcoming Dr visits that may or may not help, we'll find out! Wanted to give y'all a heads up as my writing and reading abilities have been super low
