Thread Title:To The Halls of Justice Or Something Like That
Thread Link:http://www.bloodrites.net/chaillot-38/to-the-halls-of-justice-or-something-like-that/
Reason:  Watching the maternal, adorable Lynette go to work for Noah Langevin has made my day.  I know they're only a few posts in at the time of this nomination, but the sheer strength of personality in these two Landen is fantastic.  It's awesome to see the Landen making such a strong push in Chaillot, and I think these two can lead the way.

Thread Title:The Secret Of A Happy Marriage
Thread Link:http://www.bloodrites.net/chaillot-38/the-secret-of-a-happy-marriage/
Reason:I see Daniel and Charlotte as a political Bonnie/Clyde relationship, and it starts off with a bang.  "I killed your mother today."  As if it's a normal event with absolutely no consequence possible.  Daniel and Charlotte together are a potent viper at the breast of Chaillot, and I love how this introduction thread for them makes it so clear.

Thread Title:You Would Never Break The Chain
Thread Link:http://www.bloodrites.net/raej-43/you-would-never-break-the-chain/
Reason: The interplay between Sitara - an acknowledged hater of slavery - and Saif, a notorious slaver, is one I have enjoyed so far.  Being able to see Sitara's hard heart soften - and seeing that she HATES that he has managed to make her feel empathy for him - made me smile.  Seeing Saif Nassor, this terrifying brute of a guy, make himself vulnerable and show a bit of weakness, was awesome.  I like how this thread 'humanizes' these two characters who would otherwise be complete opposites.

Thread title: The End Came Long Ago
Thread link: http://www.bloodrites.net/dena-nehele-39/the-end-came-long-ago/
Reason:  Quinten and Kale's father has been a problem for years, and they have successfully hidden that fact from the one person that has watched out for them (and avenged them when things go wrong).  I love that Quinten and Kale are such softies, and I love how this thread shows how that can bite a person in the ass.  This thread rips at my mommy heart, and I'm adoring how literally everyone is seeing red when they see what Heartly did to his own kids.

Character Nominated: Noah Langevin
Reason: Lochlan has so far done a WONDERFUL job of writing Noah.  I have an autistic kid, and I could totally see him growing up to be like Noah someday.  He doesn't give two bits for what he looks like, so long as he has clothes on.  (He's left his zipper undone multiple times, so seeing that happen with Noah made me giggle).  He only cares about doing his work, and doing it well - so watching Noah throw himself into the FOR JUSTICE! thing has been great.  Being able to see him relate to a Red Jewelled prisoner of Dark Haven when even other Jewelled Blood are reluctant to try is awesome.  Noah seems like he's going to be an amazing character well past the 'honeymoon' period of being born, and I look forward to reading his posts every time he pops up.

Character Nominated: Sahil Bal
Reason: Sahil Bal is a collared Warlord Prince with anxiety - and yet he's sucked up his issues enough to throw a party that is just massive in scale.  Watching his character find ways to 'drown' his issues while still managing to play host to the diverse cast of guests is awesome.  Watching him dance from charmer to prejudiced Blood is glorious.

Character Nominated: Devesh Acharya
Reason:  Devesh is a complicated male.  On one hand he is capable of being the Prince in charge of his estate, organizing everything into place and making sure that everyone is taken care of.  On the other, he's a Priest who is almost fanatical in seeking to join the Darkness for the final time.  Watching him balance the needs of both of his castes between the people who belong to his estate, and the Male (Vihaan) that calls to his heart, is wonderful.  I love how we are able to see so many sides to him - and he deserves a LOT of love.

Character nominated: Minerva Tailor
Reason: Is being a Healer and a district ruler enough? Minerva rules Caecian within Dena Nelehe - a position usually held by Queens or Warlord Princes or, really, any other caste but Healer. Yet she does it with a firm grip, one that she's gained over the years not only from her connections and blackmail on others within the district but from her own capability and knowledge of how to play the game and how to play it well. Minerva has a great destiny and there's nothing that will stop her from reaching it and I look forward to seeing just how far she is going to go in achieving her dreams and desires.

Thread title: let me feel as hurt as you
Thread link: http://www.bloodrites.net/dena-nehele-39/let-me-feel-as-hurt-as-you/
Reason: There is a lot of emotion and feeling in this thread as Darcia reconnects with her father (though he is not so in blood) Lucien after being hidden and gone for so long. Though Dash and Blue we are getting to see a lot of what is going through the minds of Lucien and Darcia as they try and navigate their relationship and the way that will have to be now with all the truth revealed.

Character nominated: Elenor Lirion
Reason: Dragongirl has exploded on to the writing scene here with this character and I'm loving it. Elenor is making great strides (or great waves, depending on how you want to see it) with the Sabbah and the whole political power pyramid of Pruul. DG has really thought out where she wants this character to go and is making it happen left and right.

Character nominated: Darcia Glassade
Reason: Blue has come back to the board swinging with one of her flagship Cs. Darcia has a long and difficult history and a lot of story hooks that we've all been waiting to see are finally getting paid off this month. It's awesome to see anyone come back to BR, and even more so to read such a deep and multifaceted character get to show off all their aspects.

Character nominated: Rilandra Vlas
Reason: Riley has always been a great character, but this month she's been all over the place. You'd have been hard-pressed to read every thread she's been in and moved. Everything from dealing with a Myos in her triangle to dealing with foreign visitors to struggling with the interpersonal bonds of those closest to her; Riley's been through the gamut of problems and it's not going to get any better any time soon.

Thread title: Heart Heart Head
Thread link: http://www.bloodrites.net/dena-nehele-39/heart-heart-head/
Reason: This thread is just amazing. Reid, Bowie, Gavin, and Phe all bring a lot of A+ writing here with a large divergence of feelings and outlooks on a sticky situation. Drake gets caught out for murdering Claudia's mother as a Myos, Val tells Riley he should make Drake step down, Sebastian tries to keep things calm and moving, and Riley is losing her shit.

It's the highlight reel of what difficulties Dena Nehele faces with its guild-infested Court and the setbacks Riley's facing trying to fix a Territory rife with problems that she is unable to fix.

Character nominated: Sebastian Bane
Reason: Seb may have the hardest job in Terreille: herding the cats that make up Riley's Court. The man was tossed into the job with little notice, replacing Riley's brother (that went well), and he has to navigate a couple of Myos, a lumberjack, and a Queen who doesn't mind fighting him every step of the way. He hasn't run screaming from Court yet, but I look forward to seeing how Seb handles the next crisis on his plate!

Thread title: Are you sure what side you're on
Thread link: http://www.bloodrites.net/little-terreille-48/are-you-sure-what-side-you're-on/
Reason: This thread is like three separate threads in one. It starts out harmlessly enough with Silver and Ryder trading info. From there, it morphs into a rematch between Silver and Draven that causes some major property damage. Once the Unchained arrive on the scene, it seems like the entire thing go from just messy to full-on nuclear. I was refreshing like a madman before I was even involved in the scene and it was a great read and fun to write in. Good job!

Thread title: To Keep The Year Alive
Thread link: http://www.bloodrites.net/askavi-52/to-keep-the-year-alive/
Reason: I like seeing the back and forth, different sides of the battle and history in this one. It's good to see Evony starting to show backbone after years of hiding and to see Ada stand for her people's history as well.

Thread title: pop that pretty question
Thread link: http://www.bloodrites.net/dena-nehele-39/pop-that-pretty-question/
Reason: Dash and Em truly astound me with their range of play and the different characters that they can write. This has been a fun scene to read and I'm really enjoying both the dynamic between the two characters and also how the scene highlights some interesting internal dialogue within both characters - letting the reader catch up with what is going on in both of their minds and how they're handling the shifts happening in their Courts and the Territory as a whole.

Thread title: Sword in Sheath, Hat in Hand
Thread link: Sword in Sheath, Hat in Hand
Reason: Wren and Bowie are at their absolute best in this Thread! I have adored Finn sine before Wren adopted him, and only love him more now. And Bowie’s Malcolm is a puzzle of delight, throwing out hints of a briliant mind as well as a keen sword. The shear, exquisite use of language in this thread reminds me of some of my favorite authors. Beautiful and fun, you can hardly ask for more.
