Thread title: Prophecies Live and Die in the Winds of Winter
Thread link: http://www.bloodrites.net/pruul-42/prophecies-live-and-die-in-the-winds-of-winter/msg110129/?topicseen#msg110129
Reason:
Watching each of the power players of Pruul have to come together and vote on a momentous event - voting whether to ADD to tradition or to stubbornly cling to the old ways - has me sitting on the edge of my seat.  I absolutely LOVED Fin's and Abulurd's thoughts and words during their voting posts.   They are both awesome characters, and nominally 'good guys' (sorta), yet here they vote for something that makes them more complex and nuanced.  Good guys NOT siding with the Mineborn?  Whaaa?

Thread Title:  Resolved: This is Messed Up
Thread Link: http://www.bloodrites.net/chaillot-38/resolved-this-is-messed-up/msg110701/#new
Reason: This is a series of solo posts about Noah's investigation into the mystery surrounding the Red Queen who washed up on a southern Chaillot shore.  Getting a glimpse into the workings of the Wilder, the mentality of the 'backwoods landen', and Noah's relationship with his secretary Tabby (who has become one of my favorite support NPC's, no lie) has been absolutely wonderful.

Character Nominated: Noah Langevin
Reason: Noah is the hero of Chaillot, though he may not be the hero Chaillot wants! Noah will work for the concept of Justice, regardless of who that client may be.  He's willing to risk death to do it, even when the client is a Dark Jewelled "lunatic" according to his own kind.  I find myself cheering for Noah every time I see him post.  He's glorious!

Thread title: It's Midnight Cinderella
Thread link: http://www.bloodrites.net/hayll-41/it's-midnight-cinderella/
Reason: I'm so glad to see these two back in play together. Juggling responsibilities, having to keep up appearances, but still drawn together and should be together.

Character nominated: Torin al-Jinan
Reason: I'm a sucker for the good guys who don't get the girl and should. He's a lovely character, adoring Vera and taking care of her, and at the same time trying to get out of the friends zone (and zoning out Saladin from getting into Vera's bed)

Character nominated: Hearsay Elerbeck
Reason: I love his little mannerisms, the way he talks about trees and things. Rated Em has a good eye for describing characters' animations and thought processes.

Character nominated: Archimedes Belmont
Reason: Archimedes is so much more amazing than I ever envisioned.  He's a fantastic character and Sol has gone above and beyond to build an amusing and well made character.

Thread title: This is harder on me than on you
Thread link: http://www.bloodrites.net/glacia-49/this-is-harder-on-me-than-on-you/
Reason: I know this isn’t eligible, but I wanted to go ahead and nominate it to show how much I have enjoyed the push and pull of this highly emotionally charged scene. It really seems like Minna might have turned a corner here and Warren is so heartbreakingly perfect.

Thread title: Intermission and Turnabout
Thread link: http://www.bloodrites.net/chaillot-38/intermission-and-turnabout/
Reason: I'm really enjoying Noah revealing all of Juliette's past and all of the digging he's done. It's always a delight to read Noah since Lochlan does such a good job with that character and Juliette's resolve and determination is great to see.

Reason: The interactions in this thread are brilliant. Nova, who was exiled by Rian (wrongfully so) and finally able to prove it, and Itzelian, who is trying to find some of balance in all of this, are both wonderfully represented by halyonix and Reid. You really get a feel for both characters in this thread, who they are and their emotions, and I always love when that happens ~

Thread title: chasing a starlight

Reason: This thread is so filled with emotion it's impossible not to be swept up in it while reading it. Jeremiah must tell Sora of what he endured while she was away, including the death of his mother. Sora's response is heart rending, dealing with her own loss of her adoptive grandmother as well as her fury at the Guilds for taking yet someone else away from her and Jeremiah. Em and Gavin nail all the feels. If you haven't read it, it's definitely worth it.

Character nominated: Bashir al-Sabbah
Reason: He is such a fun character that sparkles with life every time he is on the page. There aren't many characters who, when told to dye their hair blue in a formal contract just roll with it and ask: what shade? His internal voice is just so vivid (and crass) and haly writes him so well.
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead, We'll wander back to home and bed.

Character nominated: Felicite Veilleux
Reason: When I asked Zen to write this character, I had very little in the way of a concept. What Zen has done is made this character into a vibrant, passionate, and wonderful character. Fel is smart, has her heart in the right place, and is maybe a bit of a risk taker (hello random Dark Jeweled Queen)! I adore the work Zen has done and hope the rest of BR can appreciate it as well.

Thread title: Have More Than Thou Showest
Thread link: http://www.bloodrites.net/hayll-41/have-more-than-thou-showest/msg109882/#msg109882
Reason: Hayll is a dangerous place, one of politics and backstabbing. Quinlan (masquerading as Nero) and Sabine show that wonderfully, the interchange of power and the true dominate power on the Hayllian throne. Phin and Phe write beautifully and I look forward dearly to more great work by the pair this month! I'm curious to see how dear a price Sabine must pay.

Reason: I love me a good action scene and this one absolutely does not fail to deliver. Each post is riveting and engaging, and the dynamic between Izzy and Hayden on the mission to save Duncan is just fantastic. Dani and Phinn have done an amazing job with this jam-packed thread and I find myself avidly awaiting each new reply they make in it.
