OOC: So Ly is looking for people to join him and Peter on a swashbuckling adventure. He put out some feelers to some of his contacts - both shady and non-shady ones - to see if anyone is interested. Your character does not need to know Ly, but could have just heard about the opportunity through a mutual acquaintance. Or maybe they're just crashing the party some other way. Maybe someone who knows him is coming to check up on him because he's been distant or odd the past couple weeks? Totally up to you. Hit me up on Discord if you want to join but aren't sure how to intro - we can figure something out.

Ly had been edgy for weeks now. Edgy, anxious, restless. He didn't want to be here - as much as he loved his odd, quaint little shop. Sorting books and dusting his artifacts weren't exactly what he needed to be doing right now, wasn't where he needed to be. No... his heart and his mind were already far beyond solid ground an on the rocking waves of the sea, the wind at his back and the horizon ahead of him.

But it wasn't yet time. Not even close.

First he needed a crew. A small crew, nothing to big. Just a few people to help man the ship and the diving bell as he and Peter went to the ruins of the Fury... Fuck... To touch the bow of the Fury again, even where she rested in her seagrave. It both filled him with excitement and high anticipation. He didn't know what he would find there, if it would be helpful at all or if it would be just another dead end to tighten the noose about his heart.

The only way to know was to go there. It was far too late to turn back now, even if he'd barely taken half a step forward in the grand scope of things. No... looking at the Captain's jacked he had now draped on the bust of a mannequin behind the front desk, he knew that he could never turn back.

Lysander tore his eyes away from the jacket that now occupied about eighty percent of his attention whenever he was in the same room with it and looked back down at the haphazard list before him. Half of the names on it were crossed off or had hastily scrawled notes beside them like "serving twenty years" or "suddenly has a lot of kids". His list of former crew and contacts - an incomplete list at that but it was a list. A starting point. He and Peter would be meeting up in a few weeks to move forward, and it was entirely possible to go on this venture with just the two of them and a boat but he would feel better with the backup. At least one other person to start with would be good but he had a feeling that whatever they found... it was going to require more than just he, Peter, and a single hire.

"Fuck..." he sighed and tapped his pen against the paper before dropping it and pushing back from the desk, turning to face the jacket, crossing to it and touching one of the mismatched buttons - able to recall the exact moment he'd replaced it.

"Dammit!" With an uncharacteristic growl, he turned, pulling away from the jacket and rounding the desk to stalk to one of his shelves and rifle through the books there. He didn't even know what he was looking for, all he knew was that he needed to get himself together and focus, or nothing was going to come of this venture and he.. he just couldn't let himself fail here. He couldn't.

Damnit rang through the little shop so loudly it drowned out the little bell that would give away that someone had entered Lysander's domain. Or had it been an aural shield focused on the bell? Well, one would be left to wonder or make up the reason. One moment he had been alone and the next there was a woman with a sword in his shop.

"Lysander Kane?" Tylmandra asked with a smile from the other end of his desk. Her Red was on full display, her Green hidden beneath her loose shirt. She wasn't an overly tall woman, though she was by no measure short, standing at 5'7" with a body fit from years of sword-work and training. The Rihlander had silvery, almost white hair with a jagged scar across one eye and cheek that had either missed the eye itself or it had been healed to regain the retina. Her bright eyes were intelligent and focused, the expression on her full mouth one of slight amusement as she looked him over. Her gloved hands posited themselves on her hips, gloves and pants both leather of a matching dark brown. Her belt held a number of daggers and she had a bandoleer that was attached to the scabbard of a large greatsword that she could shift to more easily draw the weapon from her hip and carry on her back when she was at ease.

"You've got a popular name in the Kitchen. Friend of mine, and of yours -- Alton -- said you needed help on a mission? Some sort of recovery?"

With her Caste hidden by well-focused and practically perfect spells, Tylmandra smelled just like a regular Casteless witch, albeit one obviously deep in the Abyss. Said witch flashed a much broader, warmer smile.

"I'm Tylmandra. Tee or Andra for short. If you've got a job and you pay well enough I'm here to take up a spot in your crew. I've got a bit of a rep for knifework, maybe you've heard of me?"

Certainly some of the more well-connected in Little Terreille and Dharo knew who she was: An assassin for hire. Which, of course, would make for an awkward conversation given how she snuck up on him.

There were some interesting changes going on in Hrodi's family lately and he was very glad not to be personally involved with most of them. He didn't like the idea of serving in a court, and so he was glad that it was his cousin, Lucy, who had agreed to do so. He was also glad that their friend Nathaniel had agreed to go with her and join the court to be her escort.

Just because he disliked the notion of serving in a court didn't mean he lacked the instincts to serve and protect. They were quite strong, in fact, even if the Queen in question's caste was hidden, and especially even if she might not want an escort. Of course, in order to be her escort he had to actually catch up with her. It was a good thing Tylmandra at least let him know where he needed to go for this job. If she hadn't, he would have thought she might have been trying to lose him. He supposed that was still a distinct possibility.

Hrodi grumbled to himself about witches making things more difficult than they had to be as he walked into the shop in time to hear the end of Tylmandra stating her reason for being there to the male behind the desk. Hrodi walked over to stand next to her, his gaze sweeping the shop before resting on the Warlord. Hrodi was not much taller than Tylmandra, and he was dressed in what he would normally wear while on a ship: a shirt and pants that were easy to move in, and he had no visible weapons.

"I'm with her." This was said with a nod towards Tylmandra, and the words were barely more than a grunt. After a moment, he realized he probably should have offered his name, but that could always come later if this male wanted them to be part of his crew.

He didn't hear the bell, which should have chimed to let him know someone had entered his shop. Had he, he likely wouldn't have jumped. As it were, the sound of a woman's voice smiling around his name had him starting with a bit of surprise, so caught up in his brooding as he was. He turned, then cleared his throat and offered her a bright smile, tinged with a bit of bashful apology as he ruffled a hand through his hair.

"Sorry, Lady, I didn't hear you come in."

His eyebrows shot up a moment later as the Lady jumped right into business - the very business he had been brooding about mere moments ago. Alright, he hadn't really been brooding about the quest exactly, more about what had lead to it. Still, Lysander wasn't nearly self-deluded enough to think that he didn't have an emotional connection to this. Hell, the only reason he was doing this was because of the emotional connection. If he walked away without a damn penny to his name he would't give a damn as long as he had his answers in their stead.

A grin flirted with his lips and he dipped into a friendly flourish of a bow. "I'll be certain to shower Alton with my gratitude the next chance I get." He looked between the two of them. The Lady Tylmandra was clearly the more dangerous of the two (as he was not ignorant of her particular claim to fame among the underground), but he wasn't going to discount her companion offhand. A Green Jeweled Warlord Prince was nothing to sneeze at, and if Lady Andra was putting up with his hovering then he was someone that very well might end up useful. She really wasn't the kind of woman who went about with an escort. It wasn't really like she needed one.

"Hmm..." The sound was thoughtful as he leaned against the edge of his desk, then nodded. "Someone with your particular skill set would be pretty damn useful on this little mission. Before we talk more about it though there's a pretty firm requirement of sealegs." He looked between the two. "How are you two on a ship?"

Ah. Hrodi. Of course he was going to tag along. Damn Warlord Princes always thought it was their place to protect every damn woman they thought was in the same hemisphere as something they thought was theirs. Hrodi was a good sort, and definitely a member of The Unchained that she liked better than the others. He was a good and loyal man and she appreciated his morality and his mind. She wasn't especially grumpy he'd interjected himself into her business. That was part of the reason for the Unchained, after all, was to have people you could trust no matter what.

She had entrusted him with the secret of the Caste. In doing so she had to acknowledge that his natural inclination would be to protect her.

Even if she damn well didn't need his protection.

"This is my friend Hrodi." She smiled over to the taller, broader man at her side with a smile and laid a gloved hand onto his bicep. "He's quite formidable in his own right." And while Hrodi may not know the nitty gritty details of the fact that she was an assassin, he'd know she handled herself well in a fight.

Lysander's question about if she had sea-legs made her let out a little bit of a sharp, high laugh. "Oh, you don't have to worry about that Lysander. I grew up on a ship." And true, the Skyjammer's time was spent half as much in the air as it did the water, it still counted. "I've spent some time in the waters near Scelt too. I can handle myself on a boat. We can always get Hrodi a bag if we need to." She winked to the Sapphire Warlord Prince then turned her full attention back to Lysander, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I've not heard much of what the mission actually is, though. Care to enlighten us and talk compensation?"

Or at least, the starting point of compensation. She wasn't one for charity.

Tylmandra didn't immediately tell him to shove off, so that was a good thing. He couldn't tell whether or not she was annoyed by his presence, not that annoyance would have put him off. She even introduced him, so he took that as permission to stay, not that he thought he needed it, nor did he truly think she needed him but that wasn't going to get in the way of his being here, either.

Hrodi sighed at Tylmandra's joke, but offered her a small smile, which was little more than a quirk of one corner of his mouth. In his not so humble opinion, he would be the last one to end up seasick. It had happened to him before, but only in a really terrible storm that had everyone else sick, too.

"I've been on ships since before I could walk," Hrodi replied, his words clear this time, rather than coming out in as a grouchy sound. "My family owns a shipping business." He still spent the majority of his time out to sea, so sealegs were not an issue for him. He was also interested in what compensation was being offered; Hrodi would sometimes work for free, depending on the cause, but he had a feeling this was probably not going to be one of those causes. Since Tylmandra wasn't going to work for free, he certainly wasn't going to, either.

He wondered, though, now that they were apparently heading out to sea, if he should have made this something his family business was officially involved in since it appeared that it might be the sort of thing he would normally do for work. Too late now. Hrodi waited with interest for the mission to be explained.

Well that was a damn relief. Finally a couple of potential hires that could handle themselves and they could actually stand to be on the deck of a ship. Not only that, but they wouldn't be uselessly staring off at the waves, either. He could put them to work on the damn thing too - which meant that was less people he had to hire. Which, ultimately, meant a better incentive for those he did - since they'd be getting more by way of compensation.

He nodded to each of them in turn. "Lady Andra. Prince Hrodi." He flashed them both a bright grin and backed up to his desk, lifting himself up to sit atop it with a little jump. His feet kicked back and forth a little as he looked between them, his expression both playful and focused.

"Mm, yes. It's a recovery missing. To a sunken ship off the coast of Dhemlan. It was burned and sent to the depths with it's treasures still within it's hull. Precious gems, gold, artifacts, fine fabrics. The protective shielding on their containers should still be intact. Compensation is six percent of the haul." He looked between the two of them then looked to Lady Andra. "There's a bonus for your particular.. extra skills, and a bit more if you get to use them."

He paused a moment, his gaze going to the stained and rumpled Captain's coat on its stand behind his desk, and when he spoke next he was still looking at it. "I'm looking for something in particular. Something that would have been hidden in the Captain's cabin. I don't know what it is, but anything you find I want to see it before you claim it as a part of your take. You don't, and you get nothing." He shrugged, laying it out plain and simple. Perhaps it might seem a bit bold, a Summer Sky Warlord telling two people so much darker than himself that they'd get nothing if they broke his condition, considering that if they really wanted to they could certainly try to take whatever the hell they wanted regardless, then just kill him if he pushed them - but that was bad business. And Ly... he didn't care about the haul. He didn't give a shit about how much wealth was laying on that shelf below the surface of the Dhemlan Sea.

Half of the take went to Peter. The other half, Lysander's half, would go to paying the crew. The only thing he wanted was Tanner's secret.

She had three bags... one filled with the various tools she thought she might need.  Ropes, knives, hooks, even a few sewing things.  Ships had sails... and they might need to repair them.  Sure, she hadn't ever BEEN on a ship before... but she'd nosed around to find what might be useful.  She'd even packed flasks of water in one of the bags... just in case.  As well as some ration packs.  The other bag had her clothes.  Both light and heavy gear, because Peter had suggested it.  She'd gone for the duller things, things that wouldn't stand out.

All three of those bags she lugged to the address Peter had left her, staring at the door to the store a bit dubiously before sighing and gathering her courage.  There was only one way to do this, and that was with all the confidence she had for her usual work.

So she nudged the door open, dragging the bags in and looking around with that cheeky grin.  The place definitely had character.  She could see why Peter would be a bit suprrised that this supposed Sea Men settled and got himself a store.  She wasn't surprised, really.  After an event like the mutiny, the guy probably just wanted to feel solid for a while.

And maybe the effort had worked, since now this Kane fellow wanted to go diving through the wreck.  She let the bags lie at her feet, raising a hand to scratch at her head as she looked around.  There was some good stuff in here... stuff she could sell pretty easily in different areas.  Not that she was planning to do so, of course... this fellow was supposed to be an employer, and she would never steal from an employer.

Now she just had to introduce herself to Lord Kane, and hopefully she wouldn't have to assure him that she was not as young as she looked.  That got old... so very old, so very quickly.  Her eyes trailed over the backs of the people standing near the front desk... and she gave that cheeky grin again.  "Don't mind me... I can wait."

Six percent could be a large amount or it could be six pennies depending on what was found. She didn't like that much variance in her work, generally. But given the murkiness of the expedition it was clear they couldn't have flat values or a listed bounty amount. Still, she wanted to make sure this wasn't a waste of time for her or Hrodi, since there was plenty of work the two could find.

"Six Percent, as long as it's fair for us. If we find nothing there, we'll still want something to compensate our time. And if that's not something you can accomodate, I'm sure there'll be less professional people you can pay with exposure and reputation." She gestured with a gloved thumb between her and Hrodi. "Us? We're not hurting for work. So as long as you make sure that you're respecting us and our reputations, then we'll be just fine, Lysander."

Another presence entered the shop and she shot a look over to her. She wasn't sure if this was someone looking for work or was an actual customer to Lysander's shop. She dropped the aural shield and smiled gently toward the young woman who looked about the age for her Offering, if that.

"Oh, hello. Sorry. We're just catching up with an old friend." She gestured to Lysander then, and then nodded to Hrodi and toward a corner they could take up together. "We'll give you two some space so he can do his job." Her eyes cut over to Lysander then, expecting him to see to Lisbet, then, and to keep their negotiations private as she laced a gloved hand around Hrodi's bicep and started to tug him away from the desk.

While Hrodi had spent plenty of time on a ship, he had not spent much time diving underwater, so that would be interesting. He also was not too keen on the percentage as the method of their pay since they did not know how much they could expect to find. He also did not like that it made it sound like they would be paid nothing if nothing was found, even though they would be spending time and energy on the ship. The Warlord Prince glanced at Tylmandra, still willing to let her do the talking for now. He disliked this part of employment; it worked out well that negotiating was generally the job of someone else in his family, and then he was simply sent out to do the work.

Thankfully Tylmandra seemed to be thinking along the same lines as he was, and he nodded in agreement with what was said. The female - Hrodi could not tell how old she was - who entered the shop got a glance from Hrodi but nothing more. If she was a threat, the glance was intended to imply that he knew where she was. His gaze rested on the Warlord again, and he wanted to clarify if they would be splitting the six percent, or if they would each receive six percent, however before he could do so, Tylmandra yielded the space and pulled him away.

Hrodi thought for a second about protesting, but decided that it would be best if he didn't do so. She did not seem to be irritated by his presence, and he preferred to keep it that way.

"Of course," Hrodi agreed with Tylmandra and allowed her to steer him away from Lysander.

The little bell rang as another person entered the shop, lugging not one but three rather heavy-looking bags with her. He gave her a passing glance as she entered, flashed a smile, and raised a hand in greeting - and a quiet signal to let her know that he would be with her in a minute - before returning his attention more fully to his two potential recruits before them.

Lady Andra seemed to have some concerns about compensation, which didn't particularly bother or surprise Lysander all that much. If he were in her place he would probably be voicing the same notes, and he nodded along as she did.

Before he could reassure or elaborate, the Lady broke off the conversation to allow him to see to his customer (though by the bags she'd lugged along he had to wonder if in fact that was the girl's motivation for entering his shop). By her tone she also seemed quite determined to keep their business confidential - or perhaps it was more her and her Prince's involvement that was to be the secret. Either way, he wasn't going to risk losing a potentially very valuable addition to his crew by announcing to the world who was lingering in his shop.

So he flashed them a bright grin like they were old friends and even wiggled his fingers in a flirty way at the handsome if not quite surly Warlord Prince before turning to attend to the young woman who had entered.

"And hello to you! What can I do for you today?"

She beamed at Lysander, flipping her hair over her shoulder before extending her hand.  Some Landen were terrified of Blood.  Not her.  She touched them on a regular basis... both for legal work and for pickpocketing.  Not that it was ever easy to do - but she pulled it off.

"Lisbet Weaver.  Peter sent me.  You must be Lord Kane."  She smiled and gave him that familiar cheeky grin she had given Peter a few times.  The one that said she preferred to laugh than to cry, and why not join in on the fun.

"He said three bags should be good."  She glanced at the people still in the store, then looked at him.  "Er, well technically... I suppose Peter hired me.  So really you don't have to do much, other than tell me where to plant my stuff and wait for this shindig to get going."  She cocked her head to the side, beaming another smile at him.

"I'm supposed to be your knife expert... among other things."  She grinned, tipping her head to the side.  "So?  Where would you like my things?  Got a ship in particular for me to deliver them to, or will I be stuffing them in a corner around here?"  Oh man, she was rather excited about this.  The idea of finally being able to sail and see other places, even for a short while..

To finally be OUT of the fucking city, and away from Little Terreille?   Fucking fantastic day, yes.

Even if it meant she might have to deal with grumpy Blood males.  Her eyes flicked back to Hrodi, a cute and crooked grin on her lips before she looked over Lysander again.  Flighty, cute... definitely a good disguise for what she COULD be - given the proper motivation.

Lysander blinked, then grinned and took the girl's hand, shaking firmly. "Ly or Lysander is fine," he said through the broad smile with a nod. "So Peter recruited you huh? Excellent." He trusted Peter to have a good eye and a good mind for the sorts of people they would need for a mission like this one, which needed quite a bit of flexibility in skill and abilities. It could be a simple diving and recovery mission. It could turn bloody really fast, it could turn illegal even faster. They would try to keep it as legit as possible but.. well, they were diving to a sunken pirate ship to recover... they didn't even know what. But whatever it was had been enough to cause a mutiny and then the sinking of a substantial haul of stolen wealth.

He looked from her to her bags a bit thoughtfully and rubbed the back of his neck with a laugh. "Well, we aren't leaving yet for a couple more weeks. So you've got time to get your bags in order. You're welcome to stash them here if you really want, or on the ship. Her name is The Dowager. She's a sweetheart, on loan from a friend."

A friend who would not be joining them on this particular mission, as much as she had wanted to. Eliana was a fine Captain, but pregnancy was getting in the way of her business and while normally she would have still been out running her routes she'd had to shut down business in these last few months after being assigned bedrest by her Healer. Lysander was beyond thankful to the stroke of luck that had the ship so available to them, and out of the port here in the city too, but he truly felt for her. It's one thing to choose to take yourself out of the sea, it was another completely to be landlocked basically against your will.

"Anything else you need to know from me?"

Hrodi did not react to the wave from Lysander, except to frown more. Mostly he was not sure how he was supposed to respond to it, so that seemed to be the best course of action. And the easiest. He crossed his arms and stuck close to Tylmandra while pretending to be looking at one of the items the shop had on display, as if that would make it less obvious that he was listening to the conversation. Normally he would have just walked away to another part of the shop, but he was not exactly willing to leave Tylmandra’s side, since he planned on being her escort until she told him to buzz off… and he would probably continue playing escort even after that.

The attempt to look and focus elsewhere failed when he realized that this girl intended to come with them, and that was the reason she was here with so much stuff, far more than he kept vanished at any one time, even when he was going to be at sea for a while. Maybe she just needed more things. His cousin Lucy always seemed to have a ton vanished.

Hrodi was not sure what this girl could add to the team, which was mainly due to how young she looked to him. And green. Hrodi raised his eyebrows a little when Lisbet looked at him and then looked away again. Hopefully she would prove more capable than she seemed now, but he had already pegged her as someone who would need protection more than anything.

Tylmandra laid a gloved hand on Hrodi's shoulder, not being afraid of touching the Warlord Prince or being in his space. She had trusted him with her secret and since he seemed intent on acting like a good Escort, she'd act like a proper Queen to help ground him.

And maybe, just be a friend in general.

Most of the Unchained had the unique honor of being Tylmandra's friends and family of choice. While she didn't like to spend her off time with some of them, they were still family. Hrodi was a good and loyal, steady man and someone she knew would tell her the truth (whether she liked it or not) and wouldn't back down from doing what he felt was the right thing.

"You don't seem especially thrilled about our prospects." She flashed a smile at him as she stood at his side, turning the side of her face to look over at the slip of a girl who'd come in and called herself a 'knife-master' with a bunch of baggage to go along with it. The scars on her face seemed a touch deeper in the light for a moment, perhaps made that way due to the way her mouth peeled back in a fun-loving grin. "Don't think she can handle herself?"

She turned to the stalwart paladin of a Warlord Prince, her eyes shining in mirth. "It'll be fun. Loosen up a bit. It won't kill you to enjoy yourself, you know."

She couldn't help but look over the other two as Lysander introduced himself.  She liked the look of the female... the scar definitely made her seem tough enough for something like this.  The way the male looked at her had an eyebrow going high... but truthfully, she was used to it.  She got that look fairly often.

Even when selling clothes.  Apparently she looked too young even for a job like that - and she'd had to accept that it was a problem she woudl endure for far too many years.  That male would be old and wrinkled, and maybe even shorter than she before Lisbet was likely to ever even grow a gray hair.

It was both funny and sad.

Her attention snapped back to Lysander, lips curling up in a pleased grin.  "I can get them to the Dowager, if you tell me what dock she's at.  Would it be alright to bunk at the ship?  I kind of gave my sister the keys to my apartment, and I don't wnat to ... er... interrupt anything."  She shifted her weight, managing what might actually pass as a bashful grin.

"No big deal if I can't.  I've got a few places to crash."  But she'd rather not leave her stuff, not for long anyways.  "And if you need anything done in the meantime.. well, my schedule is clear."  Maybe he'd need help closing up this little store?  Or cleaning, or selling, or... a numerous amount of possibilities lay there at her feet.

"I used to sell a few things, and I'm a pretty good cleaner.  Keep me busy, Lysander.  I'm all yours until the job is done."

Lysander was quite pleasantly amused by the girl. She was quite an accommodating little thing, and he appreciated that. If she was able to keep up the cheer and work as hard as she seemed willing to then she should have little problem keeping up with the rest of them even if she was lacking in experience. Experience could be earned, skills could be taught, but heart and the right attitude - that you just had to figure out on your own, and from what he could tell the girl had it. Besides, he trusted Peter. He'd sailed and thieved with the man for years. Peter knew his standards and what a trip like this would entail. He wouldn't have recruited the girl if he didn't think she could hack it. And since she was Peter's hire that meant she would be coming out of his pocket, and Lysander didn't really need to worry about wasting a percentage on her even if she didn't prove to be what they needed.

"Sure thing," he allotted with a grin as he cast about for a pen and something to write on. A few steps to the desk, where he rummaged around in the drawer for half a minute or so, and then he was back, scrawling the location of the Dowager in surprisingly neat script on a small sheet of yellow paper before tearing it off and passing it to her.

"Man by the name of Cowel is keeping watch of her until the trip. You're welcome to bunk there - and honestly it might be a good plan. Cowel can show you a thing or two since you've never sailed before. Get you ready for the trip. Not that it'll be an overly long one - but for someone whose never been out before it can seem like it." And be she out of Peter's pocket or not, he'd still rather she knew how to pull her weight before they set sail.

Hrodi did not shrug off Tylmandra's hand, though he was somewhat tempted, but he did shrug in response to her question. The truth was that, no, he did not think Lisbet could handle herself, and he had been on ships with people as green as she seemed to be before. The experiences ranged from okay to far less than fun. Hopefully whatever compensation they received would be worth it should this head south.

Then again, maybe this was an act. Or, maybe she was just always this... enthusiastic and she would be fine with whatever happened while they were out to sea. Enthusiastic was the word he would choose to describe her for now, and he hoped that would remain how he described her.

"You don't now that," Hrodi grumbled at Tylmandra and looked away. It was sort of a joke, or at least as much of a joke as Hrodi usually told. He could, in fact, think of several enjoyable things that could kill him, sailing being only one of them.

"Would you mind if I checked out the ship as well?" Hrodi broke in, since they were on the subject. If they were all going to be working together, assuming that he and Tylmandra accepted the terms Lysander set, Hrodi figured it would be good for Lisbet to know now rather than be the only one who did not know who would be part of the crew. He did not doubt the ship's seaworthiness, but whenever possible, he did like to have a look at the vessel he was sailing on before setting of.

Well, at the very least this was looking promising.

Lysander's terms were reasonable as long as the haul turned out to be worth their time. If it wasn't, it was something she could renegotiate with him. Ah, true, it wouldn't be a fair renegotiation. Tylmandra wasn't afraid to use her Dark Jewels and her skills as a very, very fine assassin to get results even if it were to the detriment of others. She wasn't actually concerned or worried about it. If anything it was an excuse to get out of Goth while Silver decided to piss off Lord Black and his Court and give her some space to build out her network. Lisbeth and her knives could turn out handy, and Tylmandra was starting to feel solid enough to consider the future beyond just the next payday.

There was a lot of work to do for the future she wanted to build.

Hrodi would look over the ship, and that was fine. She trusted his judgement, especially in matters of sailing as it was a family business. She had teased him but there was a reason she had asked Hrodi to come along with her over the others, as she knew his skills at sea were exemplerary.

"I'm going to take off. We're fine with your terms, Lysander, as long as they're fair. I'll drop by when we get closer to set out." She put a gloved hand back on Hrodi's shoulder, turning to face him more fully. Her bright eyes sought out his as she spoke in a lower tone, though if it was truly a private matter she'd have sought out a thread, intimacy be damned. "Can you and I grab something to eat later? I'd like to talk to you about something else." Few things could appeal to the Dark Jeweled like a meal, and if there was a touch of innuendo, he was free to read into it.

That appealed to the Dark Jeweled as well.

She took her hand free of his arm and nodded to Lisbet with a slow smile. "See you on the boat, girly." She gave her a two-fingered salute and set out. And if there was just a touch of sway to her hips, it would have only been because Hrodi was looking at her.

Though, Tylmandra would have just blamed it on her boots.

"Cowel on the Dowager.."  She smiled, giving Lysander a little flick of a salute before hefting up her bags again.  "Not a problem."  Her eyes slid over to Hrodi, an eyebrow lifting in amusement.  "I don't see why you couldn't go with me.  I've even got the dock number."  She smiled, looking over the slip of paper to set that dock number firmly into memory.

Her left eye winked at Tylmandra as she started for the door.  And why not?  The warrior woman seemed to find Lisbet amusing, and she had decided to run with 'amusing little girl' for her personality... until she was given a reason not to.  Hopefully no one would give her that reason - or maybe she should be hoping for something a 'little' exciting.. but she'd rather not jinx the whole trip.

She moved closer to the door, readjusted the weight of the bags, and then spun around to push the door open with her bags so she could smile at Lysander.  "See you later, Lysander."  The good news was... she'd be able to nose around the ship.  Figure out what she could or could not do right away, and pester this 'Cowel'... maybe.. into teaching her a few things about sailing.

If not him, she might be able to hunt down Peter and make him do it.  Somehow, she doubted that the brooding male going with her would want to assist.  She also wasn't going to push a brooding Blood male into anything they didn't wnat to do.  She might be ballsy, and willing to risk pick pocketing drunk Blood.. but she wasn't stupid enough to be OPEN about it all.

"So.. what should I call you?"  She glanced over at him, softening up the laughing smile.  "Lysander seems like an informal fellow.. but I know most aren't."  Most Blood, anyways.  They had this thing for having a stick up their butts.. and plenty of them HATED being called by the wrong honorific.

The one down side to not being at her usual workplace - they always let her know what Caste she was dealing with in the paperwork, so she could always do her best to make them comfortable.  Meeting strange Blood out in the street?  Much harder to pull it off.  Fortunately, most Blood didn't expect much of Landen.

Ly grinned over at the rather surly gentleman and tipped his head. "But of course! Help yourself." There was a very genuine joy about the Warlord as he looked from Prince Hrodi to Lisbet and back again. He did very much appreciate when things went along smoothly - and this was all falling into place nicely. Not only was he acquiring a very qualified crew, but they were getting along! Always inspiring.

His attention shifted back to Lady Andra and he flashed her another sort of grin as he leaned back against the counter, his thumbs hooked in his pockets. "Something else?" Curiosity peaked, he leaned forward a bit, though gave a soft laugh as it became apparent that now wasn't when she was willing to discuss it. He had to wonder, though. A job perhaps? Maybe a rumor or a legend? Oh, or maybe she'd found something she would like him to sell for her. Yes "found" something. Or maybe she needed some kind of information or wanted to share some gossip with him.

"Absolutely, fair Lady," he confirmed with a wink, spirits high. "You know where to find me." He doubted he would be straying far from the shop for the rest of the day. There was far too much to be done. And with a crew already assembling itself it looked like they would be able to leave on time - which was more than excellent. With a broad grin, he lifted his hand in a wave to the Lady as she sauntered out of the shop, then another as Hrodi and Lisbet departed as well - heading to the docks.

For just a moment, Ly let himself remain motionless but for the turn of his head to look at the captain's coat he had on it's rack behind the desk. He watched it for a long moment, then pushed off the desk with a sigh and went back to work.

After all - there was still so much to be done.
